The University of Washington Bothell will soon open its first Makerspace in the Collaboratory in Discovery Hall. The Makerspace will provide students with tools like 3D printers and laser cutters to share resources and collaborate on projects. It aims to encourage learning across campus departments. Students, faculty, and staff helped develop the space, and its resources will become available in the spring quarter to enhance curricula and support student creation and innovation.
