Make Your Own Winter Gnome
1. Gnome Decoration
Virtual Program with
Make-It, Take-It, Share-It Kit
You need less than 10 ingredients to
create the perfect holiday decoration
2. Your kit should include the
following:
• white faux fur
• wooden triangle
• grey sock
• white paint
• two strips of ribbon
• one round ball for the nose
• sponge brush
3. Instructions:
• Take your sponge
brush and white
sparkly paint and paint
the lower half of the
triangle, including the
side. You should have
enough for two coats.
Let dry completely.
4. • Once your paint is completely dry
take your faux fur and put it on the
triangle. Straighten up the fur.
5. • Take sharp scissors and cut
the very top of your sock off.
Do not cut too much off, you
will need most of the sock. If
you don't have sharp enough
scissors, don't worry about
cutting it. It will look fine.
6. • Take your sock, fold it about two inches and put it
over the top of the triangle.
7. • Pick your ribbon and tie it on
top of your gnomes "hat."
8. • The next step will work
best if you put your
gnome flat. You will
need liquid glue, any will
work. If you have a glue
gun, that would be the
fastest.
9. • Place a nice sized blob of
glue on your glittery ball
and place it on the faux fur.
The placement is up to you.
