This document discusses the Reach Out to Africa project, which was originally conceived as the Inter Continental Medicare Project. It has evolved under PRIP Rtn. Kalyanda and was the original idea of PDG Rajeev. The project has completed over 37 initiatives to date and aims to provide medical services and procedures to those in need in Africa. It shares statistics on the number of countries, years active, patients seen and procedures conducted as well as the financial impact but notes more details will be added once additional statistics are available. It also briefly describes the touching story of a patient who had bilateral mature cataract and had not seen for 27 years.
