Bottlenose dolphins are born small but can grow up to 13 feet long and weigh over 1000 pounds. They live in warm ocean waters around the world and have a gray body with a beak-shaped nose that gives them their name. Dolphins swim using their tail for steering and can go both slow and quick, eating fish as their primary food source which they catch using echolocation to detect prey through clicking sounds.
