Morgan (John
   Fuller)
 was born in
  Appin NSW
Mad Dan Morgan (John Fuller) was adopted at the age 2.

        The illegitimate son of Mary Owen and
                     George Fuller.

    He attended a Catholic school at Campbelltown.

    Suspected of steeling cattle in the late 1840’s.

He left Sydney for Victoria in 1853 to join the gold rush.

Jailed for robbery in 1854 for 12 years but let out after
                       only 6 years.
He worked as a horse-breaker and station hand and
 stole a prized horse belonging to the Evans family.

 Evan Evans followed him, tracked him down and
                  wounded him.

 He escaped to the eastern Riverina and western
 slopes of New South Wales, this became his base.

  He was wanted for many robberies and murder
            around the Murray River.

In March 1865 he was declared an outlaw and was
               killed a month later.

   His body was buried in Wangaratta Victoria.

"Mad" Dan Morgan was a notorious bushranger of
Southern NSW and Victoria.



He was known for holding up travellers and terrorising
the Riverina District.




Morgan frequently targeted strict bosses and made them give there
employees money, food and drinks.
