Literary Competition

General Rules and Mechanics

   1. All participants must be a bona fide member of the
      organization they are representing.
   2. Participants must be on the waiting area before the
      competition proper, otherwise the participants will be
      deduced points or disqualified.
   3. Violation committed not included in the judges’
      jurisdiction will be determined by the powerhouse of the
      competition.
   4. The     powerhouse      shall   be    composed        of    the
      representatives of the different organizations. Only one (1)
      powerhouse member per organization.
   5. Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable unless subject
      to deduction of points.
   6. the violations that are subject to deduction of points are
      the following:
         a. Time (under and overtime) shall be deducted one (1)
            point per 5 seconds.
         b. One (1) point deduction shall be given to entries with
            excess or lacking of participants.
         c. For other violations, one (1) point per violation is also
            deducted.
   7. Proclamation of winners will be based on the ranking
      system of the competition.
   8. Final result must be presented to the members of the
      Board of Judges.
   9. In the case of ties, the decision will be given to the
      Chairman of the Board of Judges.
   10.Monocrafters are not allowed to participate in more than
      one (1) monocraft event.

Extemporaneous Speaking


   1. The topic shall be given on the day of the contest.
   2. The contestants shall be given 5 minutes preparation and
      5 minutes delivery. A point shall be deduced for every
      excess or lacking minute during the delivery.
   3. The delivery can either be conservative, oratorical or in
      both manner.
   4. Sound effects, background and props are not allowed to
      be used.
5. The contestant is not allowed to wear the school uniform.
   6. The attire of the contestant should be appropriate to
      his/her piece.
   7. The decision of the Board of Judges is final.

   2. Piece periphrastically (a most indirect quotations),
      delivery dramatically casual, with sound technology.
   3. A narrator’s chair at the stage for use at the direction of
      the performing entry.

   6. Under time: (less than 5 minutes); overtime (mare than 6
      minutes) - 2 points deduction for every minute or a
      fraction thereof.

           stage)

         minutong kulang at sobra sa paglalahad.
      3. ang paglalahad ay maaring paraan ng pakikipag-usap
         (conservative) o talumpati (oratorical) o maaring
         pinagsamang pakikipag-usap at talumpati.

Accent Aesthetics


   1. the number of performing artist per entry is 10-15
   2. theatrically projects each accents.

   4. costuming; light, practical and space structuring are
      allowed.
5. a point deduction for very lack or excess of participant to
     the final score of the group.
  6. there shall be a maximum of two coaches.
  7. the following are the scheduled accents:

  4. there would only be one coach.
  5. costuming is necessary
  6. scheduled accents should be in Wikang Filipino sa
     Kasalukuyan

Kinema Cum Kinetics
1. entry is a cluster of 12 crafters who will space structure
   what is called kinetogenics.
2. types of structures:
         IWL- immobile as it is without life
         WRL- with roots and life
         WLM with life as it has free mobility
         Tech- technologies structure

3. fixing classification:
       a. simple: must involve two crafters; fixing time: 15
          seconds
       b. compound: must involve five crafters; fixing time: 15
          seconds
       c. complex: must involve eight crafters; fixing time: 15
          seconds

4. after fixing, 10 seconds freeze, 15 seconds acting and
   again 10 seconds freezing.
5. lack or excess of participant/s is considered a foul. Foul/s
   is tantamount to zero.
6. Basic requisites:
       a. Malong
       b. Light practical
       c. Sound effect/ background music (if necessary)

7. there shall only be one coach
8. consult
