Sangha is a restful and well-connected lakeside retreat, just one hour from
the center of Shanghai and a mere 20 minutes from downtown Suzhou.

philosophy of ‘Eat, Shop and Learn’. Our Market Place is
a gastronomic heaven that encourages foodies to shop,
taste, interact and savor the finest, purest produce nature
has to offer.
The Thought for Food Market occupies 2,300 square
meters of space, within which is celebrated a global
array of cooking styles and cuisines across eight food
stations, from modern European to Asian fusion, Italian,
Japanese, Thai, and Chinese. The ingredients are grown
in Sangha’s own organic farms, or sourced from the very
finest suppliers with the strictest controls applied to
standards and quality. All our dishes are lovingly crafted
by a cooperation of acclaimed chefs and world-class
nutritionists.
Our cooking school teaches a range of global cuisines
with the focus on sustainability, nutrition, diet and organic
sourcing. Fruit and vegetable picking activities are weaved
into the experience, and our generously stocked wine
cellar hosts professional tasting workshops.
