TEAM HEADED BY AN EXPERT IN THE RELEVANT
FIELD
Ms. Gehad Galal
Ms. Gehad Galal oversees the translation
of legal documents. She is a bilingual
associate lawyer at Nassar Law Office. Her legal career
and expertise make her the perfect member in charge
of translating and reviewing legal documents, including
court and arbitration memorandums, laws and decrees,
as well as different types of contracts and agreements.
The 'Legal Training Course' she took at the American
Bar Association (ABA) comes in handy, providing her
with in-depth knowledge of the language and
terminology used in contract drafting, and in the
preparation of legal memorandums, briefs, and arbitral
procedures. Ms. Galal has an LLB from Cairo
University, English Section and is an LLM candidate.

14. Mr. Mohamed Abdelmaksoud
Mr. Mohamed Abdelmaksoud oversees
the translation of documents and
agreements of economic and financial nature. He
gained firsthand experience in the financial and
economic field from his work as a senior translator at
Ernst & Young Egypt, where he was heavily involved in
the the translation of documents relating to banking
and capital markets, audits, feasibility studies, due
diligences, insurance, taxation, and asset sale and
management. He developed a systematic, integral and
reliable technique at EY for the translation review
process and was in charge of training junior
translators. Besides his experience in the economic
field, Mr. Abdelmaksoud has a Diploma in Legal & UN
Translation from the American University in Cairo.
Ms. Lubna Abdelhaleem
Ms. Lubna Abdelhaleem supervises
the translation of protocols and
international agreements between the GoE and Arab
and international financial organizations, as well as UN
agencies. Ms. Abdelhaleem worked for the Ministry of
International Cooperation for 12 years, taking part in
founding the translation department and drafting
translation models for all sectors. Prior to that, she
worked as a paralegal and senior legal translator at
Zaki Hashem & Partners for 11 years. It is this unique
combination of work at both public and private entities,
that has provided her with distinctive experience in the
field of legal translation. She holds an MA from the
Faculty of Alsun, Ain Shams University and is a PhD
candidate.

15. Ms. Dalia Nagaty
Ms. Dalia Nagaty oversees the translation
of EU documents and developmental
cooperation agreements. She became an expert in the
field at the Ministry of International Cooperation,
where she was heavily involved in negotiating,
drafting, translating and reviewing financial and
technical cooperation agreements. Nagaty has a major
in political science and a minor in public
administration. She attended courses on EU
Institutions and European Neighborhood Policy affairs
at the College of Europe and earned a professional
course in translation “Terminology and Lexicography”
from the American University in Cairo.
Ms. Mai Mohamed
Ms. Mai Mohamed supervises the
translation of documents of political
nature. She worked for the National Center for
Translation for seven years, followed by eight years at
the Foreign Ministry's Translation Unit, where she
became an expert in political translation and
terminology. She recently joined the Office of the
Assistant Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs and
International Treaties. Among the books she translated
are The Cambridge Book for Twentieth Century
Political Thought and The Global Cold War. Ms.
Mohamed studied arts and translation at the Faculty of
Alsun, Ain Shams University.

organizations for charity purposes. We translate researches and periodicals
for the charity organization Zayee Zayak for the benefit of children with special needs in hope of
mainstreaming their education at public and private schools. We also moved to Sinai along with Hewar
Foundation for Peoples’ Arts and Cultures to translate at the event ‘The Meeting Point of Religions…
