I was raisedina small towninNortheastPennsylvaniacalledWestfield. Igrew upthere
attendinghighschool atCowanesque Valley. Iplayedbasketballfor4 yearsactuallymovingupto
varsitymysophomore year. I wasalso an honorstudentconsistentlymakingthe honorroll throughout
my highschool years. I lovedtowrite andwonan award fromour townbook clubinmy junioryear. I
was votedmostathleticandbestsense of humorbymy seniorclass. I dealtwithalot of adversityand
challengesduringmyhighschool yearsdue tomyparentsgoingthrougha bitterdivorce. Ilearned
aboutperseverance andleadership whichpreparedme well forpursuingmygoals.
Aftergraduatinghighschool IattendedSaintBonaventure UniversityinOleanNY,justastone’s
throwaway fromBuffalo. ImajoredinMass Communicationfocusingmyeffortsona careerinradio
and TV. I workedatthe campus store calledSweetsn ‘Stuff tohelpwithfinancial needs. Iplayed
intramural basketball anddeliveredasportscasttwice a weekoncampusradio. My outgoingand
enthusiasticpersonalityallowedme tomake friendsfromall walksof life andtothisdaywe keepin
touch.
Aftercollege ImovedbacktoWestfield,PA andlandedmyfirstjobasan advertisingcoordinator
for a small publisher. Mygoal was for biggerandbetterthingsandI continuedtopursue opportunities
inBuffalo,NY. I got to Buffaloandgot a jobat the ABCNewsStation – WKBW. I wasthe traffic
coordinatorschedulingcommercial airtime andmanagingcommercial contracts. Fromhere Igrewand
continuedtobe involvedsports.Iplayedsoftballonthe WKBW teamand I wouldalsocoverhighschool
sportson the weekendsforthe sportsdepartment.
BeingfinanciallymotivatedIwantedtopursue acareer insales. I workedfor4 yearsat WKBW
and thenwentonto sell at the BuffaloNews,thenVerizonWirelessandontoPaetec
Telecommunications. AteachsalespositionIstartedfromthe bottom, neverhandedanyaccounts or
business. Ilearnedtocoldcall and I workedveryhardto buildmyfunnel andhitmyquotas. At Verizon
WirelessIhadthe SecretService andMotorolaas twobigaccounts. At Paetec I wasable to landCoach
Bus lines. Ihave hadsome large successesbutalsosome tough defeats. Withall of it I continuedto
keeplookingaheadto pursue my goalswhile maintainingmyprofessionalismandintegrity.
In 2004, Buffalowason the decline financiallyandwiththe coldwintersIdecidedtoheadsouth.
I chose NC forthe weatherandthe careeropportunities. In2005, I relocatedwithLincare bymyself and
I have neverlookedback.Ihave purchaseda house whichIam veryproudof, I have 3 awesome dogs
and I have made some wonderful friends. Ilove achallenge andthe opportunitytoalwaysgrow
personallyandprofessionallywhichIamstill doing. Ihave the talentandthe abilitytotake whateverI
choose and be successful. Iama hard worker,aplanner(sometimesspontaneous),andmotivated.
Withthe rightopportunity,IknowIcan be successful andcontinue togrow professionally. Ihave
