I have known Emily Butcher since 2006. She came to work for Laclede Industries in April of 2009 and left
in August of 2011. During that time Emily displayed great talent for learning new things quickly,
adapting to change easily and was a team player.
Emily's position was of great importance as she fulfilled the role of a central contact for our agencies
operations providing both excellent customer service and taking care of human resource tasks at the
same time.
Throughout her employment with our organization she always had a smile on her face and treated our
employees with dignity and respect. She had a can do attitude and was efficient in her tasks. Emily was
able to fill in for missing staff in various positions effortlessly and when she left our agency to pursue her
education in a different community, I was disappointed to lose her but am proud of her decision.
