2. The user has received an email with a question about an invoice.
Normally they would have to exit the email and logon to the ERP
system to find the answer
3. With LookupPoint the user mouses over the invoice number and
LookupPoint discovers that there is information associated with
the invoice number in 3 business systems.
4. The user clicks expand and LookupPoint displays the first
panel of information and the 2 associated panels.
5. The user wishes to see more details regarding the purchase
order and has expanded the panel
7. LookupPoint has retrieved the information associated with the
purchase order including the related links to order
lines, vendor, related scanned documents and a vendor analysis
report.
8. The user wishes to see the order line information and has
expanded the panel.
9. The user has clicked the link and LookupPoint has retrieved
and displayed the order line information.
10. The user can return to the previous view by selecting the
return arrow. This is the green arrow above the LookupPoint logo
11. The user wishes to see the related scanned documents from the
document management system and has expanded the panel and
clicks the Goods received Note link.
12. LookupPoint has opened the default browser with the link
and it has down loaded the scanned document. LookupPoint will
work with Chrome and Firefox etc.
13. The user has opened the scanned image and can review it.
14. The user has noticed that there is a vendor analysis report
available from the procurement MIS system and wishes to see the
vendor performance so has opened the panel.
15. The user has clicked on the vendor analysis link and LookupPoint
has opened the procurement MIS portal and run the vendor
analysis report.
20. To invoke LookupPoint in Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 the user
right hand clicks on the invoice number and selects Look up and
then LookupPoint.
21. The LookupPoint configuration tool lets you define security
settings, connect to the data providers, maintain entities, define
panels and Lookups and relate these to each other.
