2. DEAR FRIENDS
 HELLO!!!!! It is nice to write a
letter for you guys. As you know, I
am living in Cuenca right
now, and I want to share one of
my favorite places with
you…..The true, it is a street, a
really long street….Actually it is
called La Calle Larga…..

3.  I love this place because it is
unique in the world. On this
street, you can find
everything…….

4. If you need to buy some
fruit, vegetables, or
another thing to prepare
the lunch, you can go to
“El Mercado 10 de
Agosto.” It is located at
the beginning of La Calle
Larga. (Calle Larga and
Tarqui)……

5. If you need to buy
furniture for your
home, you must visit La
Calle Larga. There you
can find many shops
where you can buy
incredible designs and
styles on wood
furniture……

6. One interesting place that
you can find on Calle
Larga is La Casa del
Sombrero where you can
find the famous Panama
Hat. There you can find
beautiful hats and also
see how it is made. One
interesting characteristic
of this place is that it is
also a museum.

7. If you are hungry then go
to the Calle Larga. There
you can find many
restaurants where the
food is amazing. There are
different kind of
restaurants with
traditional food and
international food….

8. If you want to see some
interesting facts about the
cuencanos’ culture then
you must visit any of the
museum that you can find
on the Calle Larga

9. If you are looking for a
place where to stay then
go to the Calle Laga.
There are many hotels and
hostals where you can get
a good rest.

10. As I said, you can find
different kind of shops on
the Calle Larga:
barbershops, hardware, ba
keries, toy stores, etc. But
the interesting fact is that
those shops keep harmony
between the colonial
period and the
modernity….

11. But it is not everything
about the Calle Larga
street. One of the most
interesting facts about the
Calle Larga is that when
the nigh starts, it suffers
a transformation.
Moreover the different
shops you can find there
during the day, at
night, the Calle Larga is
the center of the fun….

12. At Calle Larga you can find many pubs, discos, and karaokes
where you can enjoy with your friends and have a good time
dancing, singing and drinking….

13. After having so much fun
the previous day and if
you have any sin to
confess, you can go to the
Iglesia de Todos los
Santos.

14. The Calle Larga street is a
little world. You would
not be able to find
another place like this: I
challenge you!!!!
