where it soon is known as an embryo, the the
placenta begins to develop and nourishes the
baby for the following months.

4.  The Defects that may take place during this time in the
pregnancy:
 This is the main stage were defect like metabolic defects
occur, now this is the one defect that may or may not have
been automatically control by the parents. These defects
can origin from either the genetics or the configuration of
DNA.
 Another issue that may occur do to the parent cause is
alcohol use, medication use, infections and lack of
nuitional value that later in the pregnancy causes
developmental defects.
 Over 19,000 babies die during the first 4 weeks of the
pregnancy due to many reasons like genetics, mother’s
lack of care, or a mother health issues.

development process begins. And has now graduated to
being called a fetus

 Baby is now 1/5 inches long
 Arm and leg buds are visible
 Brain development in five areas, and some cranial nerves are

 Eye and ear structure begin to form
 Tissue forms that develops into the vertebra and other bones
 Heart now beats at a regular rhythm
 Rudimentary blood moves through babies main vessels

7.  During the third week your baby should…
 Have longer arms and legs, and at this point
should also have dectactable hands and feet
 Those hands and feet now have fingers and
toes (that may still be webbed depending on
the fetus)
 The brain continues to form as well as there
lungs
 Eyelid begin to form but eyes remain shut

8.  Yes, we all know that during the whole experience of pregnancy
mothers change rapidly as well as their babies.
 During this time the mother begins to feel pregnant. With
mothers having the many symptoms that come along with
motherhood, like sense senstivy (Smells become more distinict, as
well as views of the enivorment), and nausea.
 While this is happening estogen and progesterone levels increase,
as well as the mothers milk ducts, causing the breast to become
tender and swell.
 Also at this time, the mother begins to grow possibly the most
