Since before man had even gotten off the ground the question had been asked:
is there life on other planets. And as interesting as flying around space with a lime green
friend may be, it is a fantasy for your dreams. There is no real life factuality or evidence
that such life is possible on planets other than ours at this time.
As time goes on we obtain more information and more means of getting it, and it
helps establish the likelihood and even possibility of extraterrestrial life on other planets;
and as we receive more information it becomes more clear to us that life on other
planets is almost impossible. For life to be sustained, you need multiple factors to
cooperate with one another; first you need an atmosphere that can hold oxygen and
water, for without those key things we all day. Also the planet must keep a rather
constant temperature, something that doesn’t dramatically change. Just with these
simple guidelines you have ruled out any and all planets know by man to this day
therefore making life unsustainable.
If the fact of atmospheric condition isn’t enough SETI(Search for Extraterrestrial
Intelligence) is sure to bring you to the light. SETI is a exploratory program that looks for
evidence of life on other planets and other parts of the universe. SETI scans and
processes different frequencies and signals in the universe to read messages. This
program has picked up a few signals in the past but nothing has been logged in the past
nine years putting serious doubt in people’s minds. Even if a message is received there
is no way of absolutely being sure that it is not a message from a foreign powers
satellite or space craft. Along with SETI goes Active SETI or METI(Messaging to Extra-
Terrestrial Intelligence), this program send out messages to be received and read by

extraterrestrials. Nineteen messages have been sent and at this point in time have all
been inconclusive making scientist lose hope in METI.
SETI and METI may not make that much of an impact on you due to the guess
work, but supposed government cover-ups and conspiracies will. It is widely rumored
that the CIA, FBI, and other government agencies have covered up UFO theories and
evidence and stored things of such nature in places like Area 51. However under the
Freedom of Information Act all federal agencies are generally required to disclose any
information requested by the general public; after this act was made the FBI and CIA
disclosed their documents on UFOs. However, all of these documents were proved to
be mainly hearsay and other inconclusive evidence ranging from the 1940s to the 90s.
Due to the lack of a “smoking gun” in evidence and testimony, it must be
concluded that no life exists on other planets. Aliens are meant for the dreams of young
children and are in no way real. Man’s long pondered question has now been answered,
there is no life on other planets.
