2. Partnering with ProctorU
To improve accessibility to testing, we have partnered with ProctorU.
ProctorU is a live online proctoring service that allows you to take your exam
from the comfort of your home. ProctorU is available 24/7. The standard fee
for this exam is $20.00 if booked at least 72 hours in advance and is payable
by debit/credit card at the time of scheduling.
3. A quick reminder about studying for the exam….
We recommend that you review the curriculum which is a module in this
course and can also be downloaded from the Division’s website. The pretest
on page 4 should be used as a practice test. It is also included as a module in
this course. The final exam contains 60 multiple choice questions covering the
entire curriculum content, incl. Administrative and Fee Schedule/Billing areas.
The exam will not contain any Medical Treatment Guidelines cases.

4. Scheduling the exam...
Creating a ProctorU account is simple.
● Navigate to ProctorU: https://go.proctoru.com/students/users/new
● Select “Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation” as the “Institution”
● Enter your user details to complete the account set-up
5. Before you test...
ProctorU recommends that you visit https://go.proctoru.com after creating
your account to test out your equipment prior to your exam. Simply click on
the “Test My Equipment” button located at the top of the screen.

6. System Requirements
Please visit the test-taker resource center and ensure that all system

In order to take your exam with ProctorU, you will need:
● a high-speed internet connection,
● compatible browser (Chrome or Firefox),
● a webcam (internal or external),
● a Windows or Apple operating system,
● a government-issued or medical facility-issued photo ID,
● username and password to this existing online student portal account.
7. Taking the Exam
On the day of the exam, the startup process will take about 15 minutes, which
does not affect your allotted exam time.
The testing session is pre-set to 90 minutes, but most providers complete the
exam in 50 to 70 minutes.

8. Do you need Special Accommodations?
If you require special accommodations for testing, please contact us at
