Anubhav Pandey worked as a research assistant from December 8th, 2008 to January 14th, 2009 at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Aalto University. During his time there, he measured compositions of primary precipitates in quenched industrial nickel slags using SEM/EDS techniques and operated the LEO 1450 instrument independently. He also prepared samples and analyzed some EDS data as a preliminary step to later compare the results to computational equilibrium values. The professor describes Mr. Pandey as an enthusiastic, promising young scientist who is keen to learn and communicates well in English.
