To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Cadelyn Takace. I know Cadelyn through
her work at Costco Wholesale. She worked in my department for three months until she was
promoted to a marketing position inside the warehouse. From the minute I met Cadelyn I knew
she had a special skillset that set her apart from the competition. Her performance throughout
the following months only further cemented my perception of her.
Cadelyn is the type of person who is never satisfied with her current performance. In
my opinion, this is her greatest strength. She is always hungry to learn more, do more, and
contribute more to her team. She is constantly coming up with ideas to improve daily
operations and for ways to help the entire team improve their performance.
As a Sales and Business Marketing student at Western Michigan University and a
Supervisor at Costco I can attest to the skill level and quality of Cadelyn’s sales abilities. The key
to her success as a salesperson is building rapport with each person that she interacts with and
being an active listener. She takes any issues they have to heart and finds a way to solve them.
She truly tries to help them find a solution that fulfills her customer’s needs.
Performance wise Cadelyn was one of, if not the, top performers in the entire Midwest
Region. Cadelyn was an internal marketer for us that educated our members about our
American Express True Earnings card in order to get them to apply for it. We had a benchmark
15 applications per week as a warehouse. Cadelyn averaged 20+ applications herself a week.
We finished the year as the top ranked American Express building due to her. To put it in
perspective just how great Cadelyn was at her job, there were other districts in the Midwest
that couldn’t get 20 American Express applications between the 15 warehouses that comprised
the district. Each of those warehouses had 3 people doing Cadelyn’s job and couldn’t come
close to the results she produced solely.
Cadelyn was a perfect employee who would be an extremely valuable addition to any
