Yr.8 Pop- up Project This is a very simple pop- up but can be used as a basis for more complex designs.
Yr.8 Pop- up Project Images and extra layers can be added. The castle on the wall is a good example of this. Now have a go yourself. Make it as simple or as complex as you want.
Yr.8 Pop- up Project Now we will look at the mechanism that is the basis of almost all pop ups: V-folds.
Yr.8 Pop- up Project Once you have marked out your angles you need to make your flaps. Make sure each one is the same length as the lines you’ve drawn. Use scissors to cut out the shape and a paper clip and ruler for the score lines. The Shark pop up on the wall is a good example of simple but effective a pop- up which uses V- folds. Now have a go yourself. Make it as simple or as complex as you want.
