Legoland Deutschland. Are you a Ninjago or Lego Star Wars Fan?
I grew up with Legos.
I was surrounded by the world of bricks. They inspired my creativity and killed the long and boring rainy days.
So, automatically, as my son grew up to the age of his first Lego, I bought his first package of Bob the Builder Duplo
bricks.
As time went by, we exchanged our Duplo for Lego’s Ninjago, Lego City, Superheroes, Turtles and Chima.
We also collect every series of the Lego Minifigures.
Then one day after planning our visit to the first Legoland in the world, in Billund, Denmark, we decided to change
our plans.
We decided to do a Grand Tour of Germany – Munich to Berlin and beside these two great cities, we would also visit
Spreewald, Neuschwanstein, Dresden, the Tropical Islands in Krausnick, and every interesting spot we thought
would be great along the way on our road trip.
If you are looking to save on Legoland and spend less time in lines in front of the ticket desk, consider buying tickets
in advance via their Website
Maybe you don’t know, but beside the Legoland Parks, you can also visit Legoland Discovery Centers
in Berlin and Oberhausen.
Two-day family tickets are the best discount and sometimes you can find some great offers on Combo Packs, which
include tickets and accommodations.
My first impression was – Legoland is small.
After visiting the theme parks of Universal Studio or Disneyland, you will think it is small too, but on the other hand it
is 100% interesting place to enjoy with your family.
The biggest attractions for 2014 would be Star Wars X-Wing model, the world biggest Lego model, made exclusively
from 5 million bricks for The Lego Movie. Have you seen the Lego Movie in Cinema?
Are your kids a little older? Try Project X Test Track to pump up your adrenaline.
In the imagination area, you can try things like Pedal-a-car, Power Tower, and the Duplo attraction for smaller kids.
From the Observation Tower, you can take a look across the whole park.
Heading to the top.
View from the Top!
Knight Kingdom area offers adrenaline filled attractions like Fire Dragon, Dragon Hunt or the quite calm and great for
both Adults and Kids, Gold Panning. You can spend hours there with Gold Fever.
Lego Atlantis is an indoor, underwater world that is suitable for the whole family. More than 2000 fish including rays
and sharks will accompany you on your journey to find sunken Atlantis.
Lego Factory is a funny way to see how the Lego Bricks are made, you will see every step of this process and at the
end you get a small souvenir, a still warm brick that has just left the form.
Lego City also offers two favorite attractions, Flying Ninjago and a great ride called Hero Factory.
But still, the most attractive part of the Legoland is where creativity meets craftsmanship – Lego
Miniland.
Here buildings are rebuilt at a 1:20 scale, showing the best of Germany, Switzerland or Italy.
Romantic Venice, Frankfurt’s financial district, Allianz Arena, Munich airport, and the piece recognized
probably by everyone, Neuschwanstein Castle.
Where Disney got inspired.
Piazza San Marco Venice
Allianz Area. Ready for a match?
Legoland is also a fan base for Star Wars lovers.
Where is Yoda?
“Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is.” – Attack of the Clones
Plan a great day with your family and visit Legoland in Gunzburg and when you think you need change just head up
to Munich or visit the famous Neuschwanstein Castle.
