1. LEARN BRAILLE
You have all seen them: the little dots on elevator buttons, on informational plaques at
museums, on crosswalk buttons. But do you know what they mean?
Are those dots letters, or words, or both?
Would you like to find out?
In honor of Louis Braille’s birthday, students, parents, and staff are invited to:
Braille Fun Day
When: Thursday, Jan 17 after school until 4:00
Where: Sperreng Library
Activities will be lead by student Ali Kricho. Activities include:
Learning what the dots mean
Using the Braille machine
Playing games and solving riddles in Braille
Decorating cupcakes with Braille letters
So, come learn about Braille, have fun, eat snacks, and make new friends.
THERE IS A SIGN UP IN THE LIBRARY FOR THOSE WANTING TO ATTEND!!!
