She currently owns her own design firm, Laura Sanders LLC, where she provides services such as editorial illustration, branding, and printed promotions. Previously, she worked as the Lead Designer for (614) Magazine, designing covers and layouts. She also has experience as a Graphic Designer for the Ohio Union Design Department and as a Partner for Cogent Creative. Sanders holds a Bachelor's degree in Design from The Ohio State University. She has received several honors and awards for her design work, including multiple first place awards from the Society of Professional Journalists.
