DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Prepare timesheets for personnel onboard in accordance with payroll procedures.
 Receive and transmit messages between ship/rig and shore bases, supply vessels, helicopters, and
other station by radio/vsat/telephone/vhf.
 Maintain and keep up to date personnel onboard and room sleeping assignment.
 Operate all communication equipment in the radio room and ensure they are always good operational
condition and keep log for its maintenance.
 Maintain strict confidentiality of all work performed including well data and crew payroll
information.
 Coordinate to all concern parties of control and isolation of all radio equipment that might radiate
radio frequency(rf) signal during the period of radio silence.
 Establish and maintain radio contact with helicopter traffic to and from the ship/rig.
 Advise helicopter pilots of meteorological conditions, flight hazards, landing clearances, and other
information that may contribute safe navigation/landing/take-off of helicopter. Also maintain/record
it in the helicopter movement log.
