Lanier Technical College students Jose Franco, James Catlett, and Daniel Delgado won gold medals in industrial motor control wiring and mechatronics at the March 2016 SkillsUSA competition. Their advisor, Ron McGary, guided Jose Franco to victory in industrial motor control wiring and James Catlett and Daniel Delgado to first place finishes in mechatronics.
