An ugly duckling was born from the last egg of a mother duck. Unlike its siblings who were small, white and cute, it was large, black and ugly. All the other animals at the farm laughed at the ugly duckling. Feeling sad by the river, a beautiful white swan told the duckling not to be upset, and that one day it would grow up to be a large, beautiful swan like itself. Over time, the duckling matured and transformed into a beautiful white swan with large white wings.
