• It is in the northern
most part of the world.
• Officially the Arctic is
north of 60⁰ Latitude,
the Arctic Circle
• The Arctic ocean
surrounds it, the
majority of it freezes
during the winter.
• Label it in your
passport map

• Other than different
animals such as polar
bears not that many
people live in the Arctic
circle.
• People from the
countries that are inside
the circle do live there,
such as people from
Russia, Greenland and
Canada.

tribe in Northern Canada who collect
muscles under the ice.
