Problem solving should not be a spontaneous grasping for straws to try to plug a leak. Similarly, business strategies need to be aligned with the projects that are being focused on within an organization. KT thinking process advocates a focused, consistent method of clear thinking, root cause analysis and situation analysis processes to quickly isolate the problem in order to find a solution, as well as strategic alignment to guide project management and team collaboration. Utilising a systematic approach, the three day course will cover the foundations of KT process namely: - Situation Appraisal: The core of KT process, Situation Appraisal is used for listing, clarifying, prioritizing and assigning day to day concerns. - Problem Analysis: The advanced problem solving technique developed by Kepner-Tregoe used for finding root cause and implementing fixes. - Decision Analysis: A process used when required to make a choice between two or more alternatives and; - Potential Problem Analysis: Used for identifying potential threats when planning activities and for avoiding reactive action when things go wrong.
