1.) Zijn mobiele apps echt zo populair?
Volgens onderzoeksbureau Global Industry Analysts is de
markt tegen 2017 goed voor ruim 100 miljard dollar.
Twee jaar geleden:
- 5 apps op smartphones of tablets gedownload.
- Vandaag: 15 en 30.
- In Japan: tot 45 apps per smartphone.
2.) Vanwaar die populariteit?
De wereldwijde pc-markt trappelt ter plaatse, terwijl
smartphones en tablets in de lift zitten.

De iPhone van Apple beschikt traditioneel over de meeste apps, die
doorgaans ook voor de iPad werken. Maar is door Android bijna
ingehaald. De app stores van BlackBerry en Microsoft zijn een stuk
kleiner.
4.) Hoe zakelijk zijn de apps?
Populairste apps : privé (Angry Birds, Where’s my Water,…), toch
worden apps zakelijker. Sommige apps, zoals voor e-mail of GPS
navigatie, zijn zowel nuttig voor werk als privé.
