Richard Proudfit
• Born and raised in St. Paul,
  Minnesota.
• Father was a chef and resturant
  owner.
• He attended a private boarding
  school.
• After high school, he attended the
  Merchant Marine Academy at Kings
  Point majoring in enginerring and
  business.
• He completed his service in the
  Merchant Marine sailing around the
  world on cargo ships.
•   During 1974, Richard's grand obsession with feeding the
    starving children of the world began in Honduras.
•   After Hurricane Fifi killed and left homeless to thousands.
•    He went there as an engineer with a medical relief team
    to help the survivors of that disaster.
•   Richard was too busy with his engineering and repair
    works until a mother came crying, carrying her son near
    dead child, pleading for help.

 That is when Lord broke his heart and he knew
  that he had to go back and do something about
  it.
 To continue setting up food packaging satellites
  in each state of the USA.
 To spearhead community and youth volunteer
  packaging of Kids Against Hunger’s highly
  nutritious meals.
 To deliver Kids Against Hunger’s food in the USA
  and worldwide through partnerships with other
  humanitarian organizations
Eye witness and photo evidences show the life-
saving effects of the Kids Against Hunger food for
the children who receive it. The standout difference
of the Kids Against Hunger food is that, by eating it,
starving children not only survive, but they begin to
grow healthier.
