Labour market education Target group: Unemployed or at risk of losing their employment, from the age of 20. Aims: The employment office buys vocationally oriented educations for unemployed, to improve their chance of getting a job within a profession with a shortage of skilled labour. The education is individually conformed. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
Employment support Target group: Unemployed from the age of 20. Aims: The employer gets a contribution (50 % - 80 %) of the salary from the employment office. Hopefully the employer will hire this person after 6 months. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
Salary support Target group: Unemployed mentally or physical disabled persons from the age of 20. Aims: The employer gets a contribution (50 % - 95 %) of the salary from the employment office. No time limit for this measure,  continuous negotiations of the procentage of salary contribution. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
” Free year” Target groups: Unemployed, especially longterm unemployed.  Employees who want to take time off work for education or recreation. Aims: An employee takes time off from work for 3-12 months, and an unemployed person works as a temp during that time. The employee gets 85 % of the unemployment benefit during the time off. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
” Youth guarantee” Target group: Young unemployed at the age of 20 - 24 Aims: Program to develop the young unemployed´s skills, to improve the chance of getting employment or carry out higher education. Contains both practical and theoretical activities. If the employment office hasn´t been able to offer a person under the age of 25 work or education after 90 days of unemployment, the municipality has to offer the youth guarantee. Municipal youth program Target group: Young unemployed under the age of 20. Aims: Practical and theoretical activities for young people under the age of 20. The purpose of the activities is employment or studies. The activities often contain practice at private companies or in the public sector. MYP must be offered to the young unemployed within 100 days from the first day of unemployment. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
” Plus jobs” Target group: People who have been unemployed for at least 2 years Aims: The employment office subsidizes the wage cost up to 14 700 SEK/month for plus jobs. The plus job can´t last longer than 2 years and should not replace regular jobs. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
Local projects - ”Project Anna” at the AME Target group: Young unemployed people under the age of 25, who have very poor education or particularly difficult to establish themselves at the labour market. Aims: Support young people who need special measures to get a job or to re-establish themselves in the education system. These youngsters have special needs which the employment office can´t supply for. Co-funded by the  European  Commission
