2. We don't
just solve problems
We keep
business going
Clients and services
Keller and Heckman helps the world’s most vital businesses achieve
their objectives.
We represent the food, drug, nutritional, cosmetics and medical
device companies that enhance health and well-being.
These businesses are as complex as they are essential, and are
defined in almost every phase of operations by regulations that
often are rooted in science.
Keller and Heckman serves its clients by combining science and
technical expertise with specialized legal talent. Scientists from the
fields of chemistry, toxicology, chemical engineering, and industrial
hygiene are on staff to assist attorneys.
This collaboration of law and science yields a thorough
understanding of the issues clients face and the solutions that
legal reasoning alone cannot offer.
With over five decades of providing focused legal counselling and
litigation services Keller and Heckman makes it possible for its
clients to move their businesses forward.
3. GIVING BUSINESS MORE POWER TO SHAPE THE FUTURE
The innovations our clients develop can change your way of
life … or save a life. But first, they must meet rigorous standards
and make their way through multiple approval processes.
Keller and Heckman helps clients achieve their business goals by
bringing new products and services from concept to reality.
We guide businesses through technical approval, authorization,
and licensing processes.
Combining targeted legal counsel with hard scientific knowledge,
we develop product approval programs and recommend testing
that strengthen a product’s position. We also help clients minimize
their product liability exposure through appropriate labeling,
warranties, warnings, and safety assurances, and help them make
their strongest advertising claims within evolving guidelines.
In addition we serve our clients’ interests through arbitration,
mediation, and early case evaluations where litigation is a
ppropriate or unavoidable.
Whether responding to specific questions, providing strategic
advice, or assisting in business planning, Keller and Heckman
understands from the inside the industries we serve.

4. GIVING BUSINESS MORE POWER TO SEEK NEW MARKETS
Today, growth opportunities can lie a continent or a mouse click
away. And competitors, rather than carving up markets, are joining
forces to become fewer in number and greater in strength.
Together, the global economy and internet are changing the face
and pace of business, and giving rise to new issues — issues that
Keller and Heckman helps clients address.
It takes an in-depth knowledge of core industries to foster growth
plans wherever they may lead.
Keller and Heckman has that knowledge.

5. The industries Keller and Heckman serves are highly regulated,
extremely technical, and subject to standards often based upon
debate as much as data.
Because of this, we not only advise clients of their obligations, but
also help define those obligations — the regulations and laws that
determine what a business can do and how it may do it.
Keller and Heckman plays an active role in policy, regulatory, and
legislative developments affecting rates, rights, and processes
before national, European and international authorities.
Our specialists evaluate technical data, technical and economic
feasibility studies, and engineering information, as well as
epidemiology and toxicity exposure data, to promote regulatory
approaches that serve the interests of both our clients and the
general public.
Yet, if regulatory enforcement leads to legal disputes, Keller and
Heckman provides effective representation before agencies and
the courts, in mediation, arbitration, or as a last resort, litigation,
pressing for the interpretation of existing rules in our clients’ favor.
