K-Faktor is a hip-hop/R&B duo from the US Virgin Islands consisting of twin brothers Kevin and Kai Moolenaar. They are currently working on their debut EP "Enter The Faktor Zone" featuring 4 songs and 2 bonus tracks. Kevin is the lead singer and laid back while Kai is the lyricist and hype man. They have been performing since 2005 and placed third in the 2009 St. Croix Idol Competition, helping them build an online fanbase by uploading songs to social media.

Proceeds from the song's release on iTunes and their website on February 8th will be donated to The Trevor Project. Both groups have received recognition for their performances and albums in previous national competitions.

The quartet also features Tim Berne on saxophone, Craig Taborn on piano, and Dan Weiss on drums. They have toured internationally and recorded two highly rated albums. The band experienced some member changes in 2004 but continued touring and recording, putting out experimental albums like 2005's Z. My Morning Jacket has since released several more albums and live recordings. They have appeared on television and in films, performing their music.
