The KO-TXH-1A Tactical Field Telephone is a rugged, waterproof field telephone that can communicate within 21km on 2-wire systems. It uses 3 D-cell batteries and has a ring frequency of 16-30Hz. The telephone measures 240mm×110mm×50mm and weighs less than 1.7kg. Users press the CALL button to make calls and the PTT button to talk. 1 Description
KO-TXH-1A Tactical Field Telephone is suitable for wire communication. The communication distance is
within 21km. This product has the advantages of reliable and stable performance, clear voice, water-proof,
anti-shock and good electro-magnetic compatibility.
The KO-TXH-1A Tactical Field Telephone is a neatly styled, lightweight, battery operated instrument which
is suitable for connection to manual or automatic 2–wire field telephone system.
This highly flexible field telephone is extremely rugged and provides excellent battery life from easily
replaceable standard “D” size cells.
The body of the KO-TXH-1A Field Telephone is waterproof and extremely rugged. The body contains the
electronic circuits of the telephone, and the 3 “D” Alkaline batteries are housed in a separately-sealed
compartment underneath.

3. Application Guide
3.1 Outgoing Call
Step one: Press the CALL button, the signal is sent out;
Step two: Talk on the phone, when you speak, please press the PTT button which enables the microphone;
when you listen to the phone, unlash the “PTT” button.
3.2 Incoming Call
After hearing the ring and seeing LED flickering, just pick up handset, you can talk on the phone.

4. Maintenance
a) If the telephone won’t be used for a long period, please pick out the battery.
b) Please keep the telephone set clean during using the telephone. Do not press the transmit ring button
arbitrarily or disassemble the telephone.
c) If the telephone is exposed under rain or into the water, please check whether water goes inside the
telephone immediately and dry it to avoid the telephone parts to be damaged by corrosion.
d) Every telephone attached with a grounding wimble, when the telephone be used under field environment,
the grounding wimble must be installed to protect the telephone and user.
The installation method: wet the ground, then, press the grounding wimble into earth ground (as the figure 2).
