1) Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome went to Jesus' tomb after the Sabbath, worried about how to roll back the stone blocking the entrance. 2) When they arrived, they found the stone already rolled away and a young man in the tomb who told them Jesus had risen and to tell the disciples he would meet them in Galilee. 3) The women ran from the tomb in a daze and did not tell anyone, while the disciples did not initially believe the reports of Jesus' resurrection from Mary Magdalene or the two disciples who later saw him.
