Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. 1.Procesor
merujuk kepada perangkat keras komputer yang memahami dan melaksanakan perintah dan data dari perangkat lunak. Istilah lain, prosesor (pengolah data), sering digunakan untuk menyebut CPU. Adapun mikroprosesor adalah CPU yang diproduksi dalam sirkuit terpadu, seringkali dalam sebuah paket sirkuit terpadu-tunggal. Sejak pertengahan tahun 1970-an, mikroprosesor sirkuit terpadu-tunggal ini telah umum digunakan dan menjadi aspek penting dalam penerapan CPU.
2.RAM (Random access memory)
adalah sebuah tipe penyimpanan komputer yang isinya dapat diakses dalam waktu yang tetap tidak memperdulikan letak data tersebut dalam memori.
3.HDD (harddisk atau harddisk drive atau hard drive disingkat HD)
adalah sebuah komponen perangkat keras yang menyimpan data sekunder dan berisi piringan magnetis.
4.VGA (Video Graphics Adapter)
adalah standar tampilan komputer analog yang dipasarkan pertama kali oleh IBM pada tahun 1987.
Kartu VGA berguna untuk menerjemahkan keluaran komputer ke monitor.

CD-ROM (compact disc read-only memory“)) adalah sebuah piringan kompak dari jenis piringan optik (optical disc) yang dapat menyimpan data.
7.POWER SUPLAY
power supply adalah sebuah piranti elektronika yang berguna sebagai sumber daya untuk piranti lain, terutama daya listrik.
PENGERTTIAN CATU DAYA
Catu Daya atau sering disebut dengan Power Supply adalah sebuah piranti yang berguna sebagai sumber listrik untuk piranti lain.
1.CATU DAYA LINEAR
perangkat elektronika dicatu oleh suplai arus searah DC (direct current) yang stabil agar dapat dengan baik. Baterai atau accu adalah sumber catu daya DC yang paling baik. Namun untuk aplikasi yang membutuhkan catu daya lebih besar, sumber dari baterai tidak cukup. Sumber catu daya yang besar adalah sumber bolak-balik AC (alternating current) dari pembangkit tenaga listrik.
2.PECATU DAYA
adalah sebuah piranti elektronika yang berguna sebagai sumber daya untuk piranti lain, terutama daya listrik. Pada dasarnya pencatu daya bukanlah sebuah alat yang menghasilkan energi listrik saja, namun ada beberapa pencatu daya yang menghasilkan energi mekanik, dan energi yang lain.
3.Power Supply LinierMerupakan jenis power supply yang umum digunakan. Cara kerja dari power supply ini adalah mengubah tegangan AC menjadi tegangan AC lain yang lebih kecil dengan bantuan Transformator.
4.Switching Power SupplyPower Supply jenis ini menggunakan metode yang berbeda dengan power supply linier. Pada jenis ini, tegangan AC yang masuk ke dalam rangkaian langsung disearahkan oleh rangkaian penyearah tanpa menggunakan bantuan transformer.
Berikut adalah contoh skematika untuk power suplay linear sederhana dengan tegangan input 220 volt ac dan tegangan output 5 volt dc
1. Heat Pipe merupakan salah satu jenis komponen pendingin yang berbentuk pipa-pipa yang dapat berfungsi menyerap dan menyalurkan panas. Kinerja Heat Pipe di klaim lebih baik dibandingkan Heat Sink biasa karena Heat Pipe berisi Coolant yang berupa cairan khusus didalamnya sehingga dapat menyerap panas dengan baik.
2.Fan atau kipas, komponen ini merupakan yang paling umum kita temukan dalam CPU. Kipas dapat berfungsi mengalirkan udara dari dalam CPU ke luar dan melepas panas yang dihasilkan prosesor melalui heat sink. Kipas untuk CPU terdiri dari berbagai macam dan ukuran tergantung kegunaanya
3. Heatsink pada prosesor secara umum berbentuk lempengan almunium atau tembaga yang menempel pada prosesor dengan harapan dapat menyerap panas yang dihasilkan prosesor saat komputer digunakan. Dengan bantuan kipas yang menempel pada heatsink dapat membantu membuang panas, upaya ini juga harus didukung sirkulasi udara dalam CPU yang baik. Sehingga udara panas yang dihasilkan oleh Prosesor atau CPU secara umum dapat tersirkulasi dengan baik dan menghasilkan kinerja CPU yang optimal.
4. Radiator. Jika anda bertanya-tanya bagaimana bisa didalam CPU terpasang sebuah Radiator, apakah yang anda lihat benar-benar CPU atau mesin kendaran bermotor. Sistem pendingin air yang dilengkapi radiator dapat menghasilkan suhu yang lebih dingin didalam CPU. Dengan sistem ini panas yang dihasilkan oleh prosesor dibawa oleh air melalui selang yang terhubung ke radiator untuk didinginkan. Pada radiator telah dilengkapi kipas untuk membuang panas. Dengan menggunakan sistem pendingin air, CPU dapat bekerja lebih senyap karena komponen seperti radiator kipas dan waterpump dapat diletakan diluar CPU, sehingga mengurangi kebisingan.
Pada ajang overclock yang “memaksa” prosesor bekerja pada kemampuan maksimalnya, membuat sistem pendinginan "biasa" sudah tidak mampu lagi meredam panas yang dikeluarkan oleh prosesor. Maka para penggiat overclock menggunakan Dry Ice Coolerataupun nitrogen cair untuk mengusir panas pada prosesor.
5. HDT (Heatpipe Direct Touch) sistem pendingin yang digunakan untuk mendinginkan prosesor dengan menyentuhkan unit heatpipe langsung kepermukaan prosesor. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat perpindahan panas dari prosesor ke unit pendingin, tentu dengan tujuan memaksimalkan kinerja komputer.

Kesimpulan
Jadi device ni merupakan alat utama yang harus ada di dalam rangkaian sebuah komputer karena setiap komponen seperti hardisk, processor, RAM, dvd room, panel dalam casing, kipas, vga, port usb dan yang lainya semua terhubung menjadi satu melalui port / tempat dudukannya masing masing sehingga ketika cpu di nyalakan maka fungsi mobo / main board / papan utama ni menghubungkan setiap kompunen menjadi sebuah aktifitas kerja perangkat komputer.
2.KIPAS
Seiring perkembangannya berbagai macam pendingin prosesor maupun CPU diciptakan untuk mendapatkan suhu kerja yang kondusif didalam CPU dan mendapatkan kinerja prosesor yang optimal dan CPU secara keseluruhan. Selain beberapa komponen pendingin, casing CPU juga memiliki peranan yang cukup penting dalam hal kemampuan mensirkulasi udara panas yang dihasilkan komponen-komponen yang ada di dalamnya agar dapat dikeluarkan dengan baik.
