2. Design and develop a crowd-sourcing based solution that can analyse and verify the source
of any incoming call, SMS and Email based on the inputs from the end-users. The solution
should be able to classify, whether the source is genuine or spam. Also, the solution should be
able to generate a risk score for incoming calls, SMS and Emails, based on the crowd-sourced
input.

3. Call, SMS, and Email Spam: The prevalence of unsolicited and spam calls, SMS messages, and
emails is a major issue, causing inconvenience and potential risks for users.
Lack of Source Verification: Verifying the authenticity of incoming calls, SMS messages, and emails
poses a challenge, making it difficult to trust the sources and increasing the vulnerability to scams.
Time-consuming Analysis: Manual analysis and verification of each incoming communication
consume significant time and effort for users, impeding their productivity and efficiency.
Limited User Knowledge: Users often lack the necessary knowledge and resources to accurately
identify spam sources and stay updated on the evolving trends in spam attacks, leaving them
susceptible to potential threats.
Privacy and Data Security: Ensuring privacy and data security is a constant concern for users,
particularly in the face of persistent spam attacks and the limitations of current security software.
User Adoption and Engagement: Encouraging active participation from users in the crowd-sourcing

Gpay Scam, QR Scams: Our solution addresses the rising concern of GPay scams and QR code scams. By implementing
advanced fraud detection algorithms and real-time analysis, we protect users from falling victim to these fraudulent
schemes, safeguarding their financial information and personal data.
Product Scams: Our innovative solution includes a robust mechanism to combat product scams. Leveraging user-
generated reports and crowd-sourced data, we identify and alert users about counterfeit or deceptive products,
empowering them to make informed purchasing decisions and protect themselves from potential fraud.

• Users receive notifications upon receiving reports and have the option to provide details to
regain safe ore verified status.

8. Mitigation:
• Blackmarks devices exceeding a report limit by employing Device Fingerprinting
Techniques.
• Runs Advanced Spam Detection Algorithms on incoming calls of keypad phones through
call forwarding feature to filter Spam calls.
• Maintains an up-to-date Reputation Database of Spam numbers, emails addresses and
Senders both online and locally on the device.
