The Newton Free Library is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year with a variety of events and activities. To kick off the celebrations, the library will host a party on April 28th with cake, music, and speeches about the library's history and impact. Throughout the year, the library will hold exhibits, lectures, and other programs exploring Newton's history and culture. The anniversary celebrations will help raise awareness of the important role the library has played in the community for over a century.
