Assist the Director in implementing a plan of operation to achieve the goals and
objectives of the program
Supervise staff and office in absence of Director
Supervise faculty and student mentoring program
Review student applications and documentations for student acceptance
Recruit students through informational sessions, newsletters, personal interviews, and

Present to student organizations about McNair research and graduate school preparation
Collaborate with faculty to present to McNair Scholars about graduate school
Prepare and develop students for graduate school, focusing on requirements for
admission, building transferable skills needed to be successful
