sponsors.
- Modalities: Kata / Kumite (male and female individual categories)
- Total: 12 categories.

Registration:
1st phase;
1. registration only by NFs for athletes classified between the positions 1 and 32 (included) in WKF Ranking
(1st week of registration) No limit of athletes per NF
2. open registration for athletes classified between the positions 1 and 32 (included) in WKF Ranking (2nd
week of registration) No limit of athletes per NF
2nd phase, if vacancies, open registration for athletes ranked between positions 33 and 64 (included)
of WKF Ranking (next two weeks) No limit of athletes per NF
3rd phase, if vacancies, open inscription for competitors ranked between positions 64 and 100
(included) of WKF Ranking. (last two weeks) No limit of athletes per NF.

4. WORLD KARATE FEDERATION
Competition System:
Elimination Rounds (Round robin system), in 8 pools of 4 athletes (minimum 3
bouts for each athlete). The 1st of each group is classified for the
Quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals, 4 athletes are qualified for the semifinals
Semifinals, the two winners go for the Final. The two losers go for Bronze medal.
FINALS and Bronze medal with results: 1º, 2º and 3º (only one third place).
Programme (simulation):
o 1st day: Friday 9:00 to 20:00 (elimination rounds)
o 2nd day: Saturday 9:00 to 20:00 (elimination rounds)
o 3rd day: Sunday 10:00 to 14:00 (Finals and Bronze medals)

5. WORLD KARATE FEDERATION
o All the top 3 athletes receive a medal.
o All bouts add up (the same) points for the WKF Ranking and PL Standing.
o The athlete who obtains more points at the end of the 6 events (with
minimum participation in 4 events) is proclaimed GRAND WINNER.
o Prizes per Event and category:
1st Place: 1.000€ and gold medal.
2nd Place: 500€ and silver medal.
3rd Place: 250 € and bronze medal.
GRAND WINNER Prize: 5.000 € and trophy.
