Editor's Notes
Personal Care – school year is rushed; hard to teach kids things - how to brush/floss, move from bathtub to shower; teach girls how to braid their hair; teenagers how to shave - if you have teenagers, teach them how to make a doc/hair appt.Cook Up - kids of all ages can cook – think easy - trail mix, smoothies, cold pasta salads, frozen banana pops, - get them ready for school: mornings are less rushed so you might teach them how to make toast, or pour milk or cereal; for older kids, let them begin to make their own sandwiches so they can pack lunch when school beginsand here’s a teen tip: expand vocab - if they have an ipod/smart phone – download a dictionary app! And go to FreeRice.com for fun practice.
