the northern portion of the Neuquen Sedimentary Basin. The
Neuquen Basin is Argentina's most prolific oil producing basin, and Numbeber of Claims Size
hosts the country's only producing potash mine -- Potasio Rio
Colorado owned by RTZ. K3 10 75,263

The K3 and K4 properties have been acquired on the basis of
regional geologic studies to determine which parts of the basin are K4 6 64,606

those are either underlain by later intrusives which have destroyed
the favourable beds or the favourable horizons lie too deep to be
economically mined. The Company selected targets by reviewing drill logs from abandoned oil wells. This highly techni-
cal work is focused on the identification of potassium bearing salt beds.
The properties are highly prospective for potash. The K4 Project may also be prospective for uranium, biogenic sulfur
(similar to the Company's Codihue sulfur project), Mississippi Valley type lead and zinc (similar to the Company's Picun
Lefu lead zinc project), and for asphaltites (hard bitumens which can, through heating, be a source of petroleum).
Mr. John Hite stated: "Marifil is now the largest potash play in Argentina aside from the assets of Vale's Rio
Potasio deposit, and has now covered all of the prospective ground in the northern half of the Neuquen
Sedimentary Basin. We are highly encouraged by the discovery of a second biogenic sulphur prospect. Last year
sulphur prices hit a low of $30 per ton but now prices are approaching $200 per ton.”
K4 PROPERTY
The K4 Property covers a total of 64,606 ha and is located approximately 10 kilometres north of the K3 property. Company
geologists identified a significant, previously unrecognized sulphur prospect located largely in the K4 claim block. The new sul-
phur prospect, called S-2, exhibits sediment dissolution collapse breccias extending over an area of about 4,000 hectares. The
target is open-ended to the north. Solution breccias developed over a know gypsum horizon is a geologic characteristic of all
biogenic sulphur deposits. S-2 is similar to Marifil's Codihue sulphur prospect located to the south on the Company's K-2 prop-
erty in that portion of the basin within Neuquen Province (see News Release dated February 25, 2009).

Geologic mapping and basin analysis identified this large area as having good potential for salt horizons at depths ranging from
500 m to 2,000 m. The evaporate salt horizons are believed to range from 50 m to 350 m in thickness. Analysis of electric and
gamma ray logs from abandoned oil wells is ongoing. Potash (a mineral salt with the chemical formula KCl) typically occurs
near the top of thick evaporate salt horizons.

 K3 PROPERTY
The K3 project covers a total of 75,263 ha. The southern part of the project lies approximately 50 kilometers northwest
of Vale's giant Potasio Rio Colorado potash mine which has a resource of 2 billion tons of potassium chloride.

Recent work by the Company has identified an abandoned oil well hole on the K3 property which hit 4 meters grad-
ing 20 to 22% K2O at a depth of 221.5 meters. This high grade zone, located at a shallow depth, will be an ideal tar-
get for the early drilling. This shallow zone may be amenable to low cost underground mining."
