Commander Mondaz attacks planet-x and sets a time bomb to destroy it. Captain Munoz of the Exian army learns of the attack and prepares to stop Mondaz. Munoz and his soldiers travel to Mondaz's planet, Zorkham, to retrieve the power source needed to disable the bomb. During a fight between the armies, Munoz finds Mondaz and the power source. After being electrocuted by Mondaz, Munoz is able to disable Mondaz and stop the bomb, saving planet-x. The citizens throw a celebration for being saved from Mondaz's attack.

Gilgamesh was a powerful king of Uruk who began as a cruel despot, oppressing his subjects. The gods created Enkidu to curb Gilgamesh's excesses. The two became friends and had many adventures fighting monsters and gods. When Enkidu died, Gilgamesh was devastated and sought the immortal man Utnapishtim to learn how to avoid death. Utnapishtim told Gilgamesh about the great flood and how he gained immortality. Though Gilgamesh failed Utnapishtim's test to stay awake for a week, he learned that while men die, humankind endures and his great city of Uruk would be his legacy.
Leather bound journal maria
Maria recorded her experience of unexpectedly floating above a pond while resting on a lily pad. She saw the turtle sleeping and fish swimming before beginning to rise into the air. The turtle woke and told her to get down, but she found herself able to fly. Maria enjoyed her new ability and used it to scare away some crows before returning to the pond, hoping her experience would last longer.
Short story
The narrator and their three brothers - Skyler, Chris, and Alex - are stranded when their car breaks down on a remote road. They walk to a nearby creepy mansion for shelter. The owner, Mr. Drudge, allows them to stay the night. Later, the narrator discovers that Chris and Alex are missing from their rooms. After a fierce battle, Zach regains his human form and saves Zhanth, though it is unclear if Xya was real or part of Zach's imagination.

Leah moved to Long Beach, California from Florida at age 12. On her first trip to the beach there, she saw Dylan, a cute boy training to be a junior lifeguard. Though they had an awkward introduction, they were seated together in math class and reconnected. However, Dylan's friend later told Leah that Dylan wasn't interested in her, breaking her heart. The next weekend at the beach, Dylan approached Leah and asked her out, telling her his friend's previous statement wasn't true. He comes across carvings describing a castle on the planet Zuegan that contains a sphere holding all knowledge of the universe. Jarkuk travels there with his army and encounters Pringy, a man protecting the castle. Pringy reluctantly takes them to the castle, warning Jarkuk not to look into the sphere. Jarkuk ignores this and looks into the sphere, rapidly aging as he gains all knowledge. Overwhelmed, he returns everything his army stole and wanders off alone, dying with both regret and pride over his actions
The lost city
Johnny sets out on an adventure through the Forest of Wonders to find the lost city of Saiix. He gets stuck in sinking sand but is saved by a monkey named George who agrees to help him. They encounter dangers like a snake pit but make it through with George's help. In a cave, they find gems to open a door and discover the lost city, which has unusual features like houses made of jello. Johnny and George decide to live there.

The story follows a mother named Mama and her two sons, Derek and Freddie, as they travel across the country in their car. Mama raises the boys on her own after leaving their wealthy father. They live a nomadic lifestyle, moving from city to city. When Mama loses her job and home in New York, she decides to move to Los Angeles. Flower-Picker, whose embarrassing name was given to him as a baby, invents the first "car" to beat his bully Rock-Smasher in a race down a dangerous volcanic hill. Flower-Picker constructs a vehicle with four stone wheels and a slab for sitting. During the race, Rock-Smasher cheats by throwing rocks at Flower-Picker, but ultimately Rock-Smasher's makeshift sled falls into a lava pocket, allowing Flower-Picker to win by default. In recognition of his invention, Flower-Picker's name is changed to Car-Creator.
Great Britain's Great Heartbreak
Elizabeth Jane, a 16-year-old princess, is traveling to meet her arranged husband Prince William. She is nervous about marrying a man she has never met. Upon arriving, she befriends her guide Nicole. Elizabeth grows fond of Nicole and does not want to leave her. When she meets Prince William, she finds him rude and unattractive. Elizabeth refuses to marry William and insists on bringing Nicole back with her instead.
The Bully
1) Johnnie is bullied by Nelson who trips him in the cafeteria and causes him to fall and get pizza and juice spilled on him.
2) In retaliation, Johnnie punches Nelson and makes his nose bleed, but the next day Nelson and friends throw Johnnie in a trash can and roll him down a hill.
3) Johnnie's former friends then abandon him due to fear of Nelson, though Johnnie plans to get revenge by dumping glue on Nelson. However, the principal catches Johnnie and gives him detention instead.
We Have to Talk
The narrator's parents tell her they need to talk. They argue frequently and their relationship is deteriorating. At school, the narrator writes a personal essay about her parents for class, hoping to express her feelings. When she gets home, her parents are arguing again. The next day, her father has moved out. Her mother lies to her. At home again, her parents tell her they are having problems connecting and are separating. The narrator finishes her essay with the line "the last thing a child wants to hear from their parents is 'We have to talk'."

Princess Cindy lived a life of luxury but was very selfish, refusing donations to help the poor. As punishment, her fairy godfather turned her into an ugly stepsister serving a cruel family. At the Grand Charity Ball, Cindy saw Prince Ethan with her replacement Brianna. Realizing her mistake, Cindy generously donated to all the charities, learning that true happiness comes from giving to others, not material wealth.

His ten-foot height is intimidating but his soldiers aroused it.<br />“Can’t you go any faster!” he roared. “Well commander, the fuel level is low so this is how fast it can go, “he fought fully explained.<br />“Fire then”, he said then walked away.<br />Mean while on planet-x, the citizens were enjoying what seemed like a perfect day. Dads were barbequing, Moms were relaxing, and kids were having fun. Suddenly, the sky slowly blackened and the citizens were looking up. Up there was a big monstrous, pitch black ship. Then the day didn’t seem so perfect anymore.<br /> At the Exian army’s base, I received a video call from Colonel Woodson.<br />“Planet-x is under attack,” he said.<br />“Do you know who’s attacking?” I asked<br />“Well, it’s someone you probably never wanted to see again,” he answered.<br />“Mondaz?” I asked.<br />“Yes” he told me. <br />Then he hung up the call. <br />The ship was still hovering over the sky of planet-x. Suddenly, a giant hologram was projected and it carried a message. <br />“I will give you al a chance to evacuate planet-x the hologram of Mondaz warned. <br />“I have set a time bomb to destroy Planet-x, then that should teach you all not to mess with me!” he exclaimed. Then the hologram disappeared.<br />In the Exian army’s base, I was preparing to head to Zorkham, Mundaz’s planet.<br />“Power-up the engines, put on your war suits,” I shouted to everyone.<br />“Five, four, three, two, one,” the pilot announced.<br />Then they were off to Zorkham.<br />“Make sure the power source is here,” I commanded.<br />“Yes captain,” a soldier said obediently.<br />“Uhh captain,” the soldier said in a confused voice. <br />“Yes” I replied.<br />“The power source is…ahh, well gone” he said.<br />“What!?” I shouted<br />“Mondaz must’ve taken it” he replied.<br />“Well I guess we’re going to have to steal it back” I said<br />On planet-x everyone was still panicking. Then the mayor made an announcement.<br />“Hello citizens, I have some good news and some bad news” he announced.<br />“The bad news is the time bomb will explode in two days!” he nervously said.<br />“The good news is captain Munoz and his army are on the way to stop the bomb and Mondaz.” He excitedly said.<br />It turned out Mondaz was lying and set up a force field before the citizens could escape.<br />When I made it to Zorkham, the pilot circled around the desolate wasteland for safety reasons. Then we landed on the planet. It was calm. It looked very, very ugly.<br />“Captain, captain I see Mondaz’s ship” he exclaimed out of nowhere. We all dashed over to his ship. Instead of entering quietly, we just busted in. While mine and Mondaz’s soldiers were fighting each other, I secretly escaped. Then I saw a room. Inside it was the power source and the button to stop the bomb. Right when I entered, I felt jolts of electricity entering my body.<br />“So, we meet again” he chuckled.<br />“Shut off the bomb” I said weakly. Then he just electrocuted me again. You would think that I would be dead right? Nope my war suit was specially designed to handle electricity. I was laying down the floor, weak and hopeless. Suddenly, I felt all my energy coming back! Mondaz made the bomb’s time go faster, so I had to hurry up.<br />“What are you doing” he yelled.<br />“Something I should’ve done two years ago” I shouted. Then I took out his power battery and then he shut down. I got the power source and returned it to planet-x. When we returned to planet-x the citizens threw a big celebration party. Planet-x was never bothered by Mondaz again. Planet-x forever lived in peace. <br />
