This document discusses the benefits of integrating emergency services through joint operations and shared technology. It argues that diminishing resources require services to work together more efficiently. A common operational picture enabled by shared video feeds and communications could improve response by giving responders a shared understanding of incidents. Integrating existing and new video surveillance equipment across services through a single platform could provide responders with live video streams for enhanced situational awareness while reducing infrastructure costs. This could include streaming from body cameras, vehicles, helicopters and fixed cameras to command centers and mobile devices.
Application of Information technology equipments and how they works and basic requirements ,how solutions are provided to clients as per the client need each and every step from initial stage to final process by SMEs(Small Medium Enterprises) Expressed through beautiful slides in easy and lay man way.
CNL Software - PSIM for Energy, Oil & GasAdlan Hussain
Economies, both developed and developing, are dependent on oil and gas supply. The security and availability of energy is critical as it directly affects economic, political and social stability. Ultimately risks affecting supply can be generated by freak natural events, accidents or terrorism. The size and complexity of facilities makes them difficult to secure. Monitoring the perimeter fence, multiple process environments including hazardous and toxic gas areas, as well as terminal and tanker loading jetties all require comprehensive management.
Ensuring these facilities have enforced compliance to set procedures is a significant challenge, vital to the protection of assets, the safety of staff, and the public. Maintaining a consistently high level of security requires the best use of technology, people and processes.
IPSecurityCenter PSIM centralizes all security systems, providing complete situational awareness. Operators only see what they need to see, when they need to see it, effectively eliminating information overload. The workflow tools allow security levels to be increased and decreased in line with security policy. All of this ensures consistent, compliant and crucially, auditable security policies.
interface 9 is a full integration platform for healthcare facilities with built-in care management tools to replace all of the seperate software tools used by most care facilities. This brochure shows the vast integration capabilities of i9.

Every city is different. Different people, different location and even different risks and challenges, but we have learned that many safe and smart cities have these 6 things in common.

2. Changing Environment
Diminishing resources
Do more with same or less
Political will
Heightened threat
Technologically possible
Integration between Emergency Services improves response
Interoperability is essential
Military experience of Combined Services Operations
3. Potential Obstacles to Change
Impact on extant budgets
Entrenched single service views (protectionism)
Separate legacy systems
Proprietary (closed) software systems
Investment required for transition to Joint facilities
Lack of Joint doctrine and training
4. Combined Services Operations (1)
5 Principles for Joint Working
Co-location
Single, safe, easily identified, near to scene
Communication
Co-ordination
Identify lead service; identify priorities, resources and
capabilities for an effective response
Joint understanding of the Risk
Share information about the likelihood and potential impact
of threats and hazards
Agree potential control measures
Shared situational awareness
