It is my pleasure to recommend Joe Van Thuyne. For several months I was fortunate to have
Joe as my coach. Our work together focused on communication with specific attention
regarding communicating new ideas.
Joe is clearly an expert in his field. He is a consummate professional with experience which
is both quite specific and also appears to be influenced by a broad perspective. These
attributes contributed to a unique ability to observe and understand the unique culture of our
organization, tailoring his recommendations to be in sync with our needs.
His preparation included providing a detailed agenda developed through collaborative effort,
followed by review and thorough discussion of the application of methods, expectations, and
next steps. Joe integrated creative thinking into every stage of this approach. It is this
standard for segmenting tactics logically which frees me to now problem solve creatively and
then effectively communicate ideas for discussion. I recognize and I am grateful for Joe's
influence on a daily basis especially during a period of critical change.
It was clear to me that Joe did not view his role as one where he provided answers. He was
there to help me fine-tune thinking, increase creativity and effectively communicate these
