● JetBlue’s new routes between Baltimore and several Florida
destinations are part of the airline’s expansion in both
markets.
● In late 2015, JetBlue will begin regular service between
Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall
Airport (BWI) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) and
between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Fort
Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
● The airline plans eventually to provide 100 daily flights due
to growing demand from customers in the South Florida
region.

3. ● According to CEO Robin Hayes, JetBlue offers
low-cost flights with a better passenger
experience. The airline, which also operates out of
Washington, D.C.’s two major airports, brings “a
little humanity back to air travel,” with assigned
seats, ample legroom in coach class, fast
broadband Internet, live inflight television, and
complimentary, unlimited brand-name snacks
and soft drinks.

4. Introductory Prices
● In May 2015, the airline offered introductory
one-way ticket prices of $49 between the
Washington, D.C., area and its Florida
destinations, which will be served by Airbus
A320 aircraft.
