Jerry Jones was born in 1942 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He played offensive lineman for the University of Arkansas, helping them win a national championship in 1964. Jones was successful in the oil and gas industry, owning Blue Star Oil and Gas Company. In 1989, he bought the Dallas Cowboys and currently acts as the team's owner and general manager. As owner and general manager, Jones has led the Cowboys to 3 Super Bowl victories, 3 conference championships, and 8 division titles in the past.
