Jennie Finch was born in La Mirada, California in 1980. She became a famous softball player after starting to play at age five and pitch at age eight. She played varsity softball as a freshman in high school and went on to play for the University of Arizona, where her jersey was retired. Finch played professionally for the Chicago Bandits and also made the U.S. national softball team. She has a B.A. in communications and is dedicated to softball despite also having a son.
