Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FL ASLA), the Professional Insurance
Agents of Florida (PIA of FL), and the Florida Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials
(FAHRO); thus promoting the welfare, significance, and advancements of the associations with respect to
their industries via regional trainings, annual conferences, webinars, email campaigns, and digital and
physical publications.
▪ Timely execution of planned email campaigns to communicate regional trainings, membership
marketing/promotions, annual conference promotion and spotlights, and special programs and
events.
▪ Conception, content mapping, editing, and implementation of organizational publications; including
membership directories, magazines, membership promotion campaigns, and bi-monthly telegrams.
▪ Creation of digital artwork to bolster the above efforts using various tools, such as Photoshop,

Social Media, Writing, and Campaign Work Samples
My previous employer, Onyx Creative Group, re-positioned itself as a business consultancy that specializes
in Business and Life Design with an emphasis on teaching small business owners and entrepreneurs how to
discover the coveted happy medium between doing the work that you love and living the life that you want
to live simultaneously. This was serviced through custom training, 1 on 1 coaching, and comprehensive
workshops. I spearheaded work on various original visual marketing materials across all of our social media
platforms, including infographics, pictographs and flowcharts. I then worked to leverage Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram, and LinkedIn to help promote these programs using the aforementioned originally designed
materials. Work consisted of gathering background information and research on various concepts
associated with business, and working with my designers to turn the research into design pieces meant to
engage and promote Onyx services:

● Scriptwriting
○ One of the clients that we had on retainer with Onyx Creative Group was Barineau Heating
and Air Conditioning, a local HVAC service provider in Tallahassee. The voiceover for these
two ads, which promoted Barineau's Total Comfort Service Agreement, began as scripts that
were drafted, written and edited by myself on behalf of Onyx Creative Group. I had to write
these ads for the purposes of effectively communicating the intended message while
adhering to broadcast rules and regulations, and a 30-second time frame.

○ At Onyx, most web work was project-based (even though a few of our retainer clients did
utilize our web development services. My role was in the initial content direction of the
projects (inputting and concepting content via a conjunctive effort with the client) and the
ongoing back-end content management of the web pages for the clients that we held on

● Creative Campaigning
○ Much of my purview also included concepting and execution for creative social media
campaigns, including this campaign on behalf of Awards4U, a small business recognition and
award retailer in the local Tallahassee area. After multiple meetings, the team devised a
campaign strategy to be executed across social media channels that positioned Awards4U as
a recognition destination that specialized in all forms of recognition, not just the ordinary
(sports, academic achievement, etc.). Called “Recognition 4 Everyone,” work consisted us
asking willing participants to briefly talk about who they wanted to recognize in their lives
and why, and what special award would you give them if you could. The videos and
accompanying images were placed on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, as well as the
Awards4U blog. These are a few of the campaign videos. I played a key role in the
conception of the theme and the execution of the campaign itself, both on-site and in digital
sharing.

This was serviced through custom training, 1 on 1 coaching, and comprehensive workshops. I spearheaded work on various original visual marketing materials across all of our social media platforms, including infographics, pictographs and flowcharts. I then worked to leverage Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to help promote these programs using the aforementioned originally designed materials. Work consisted of gathering background information and research on various concepts associated with business, and working with my designers to turn the research into design pieces meant to engage and promote Onyx services:

The voiceover for these two ads, which promoted Barineau's Total Comfort Service Agreement, began as scripts that were drafted, written and edited by myself on behalf of Onyx Creative Group. I had to write these ads for the purposes of effectively communicating the intended message while adhering to broadcast rules and regulations, and a 30-second time frame. ■ 1. My role was in the initial content direction of the projects (inputting and concepting content via a conjunctive effort with the client) and the ongoing back-end content management of the web pages for the clients that we held on retainer. These are links to sites that I actively managed and produced content for. ■ Awards4U (Including blog) ■ The Gabor Agency (Copy and Content Management) ■ Boma Legacy (Content Management) ● Creative Campaigning ○ Much of my purview also included concepting and execution for creative social media campaigns, including this campaign on behalf of Awards4U, a small business recognition and award retailer in the local Tallahassee area. After multiple meetings, the team devised a campaign strategy to be executed across social media channels that positioned Awards4U as a recognition destination that specialized in all forms of recognition, not just the ordinary (sports, academic achievement, etc.). Called “Recognition 4 Everyone,” work consisted us asking willing participants to briefly talk about who they wanted to recognize in their lives and why, and what special award would you give them if you could. The videos and
  • 7. accompanying images were placed on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, as well as the Awards4U blog. These are a few of the campaign videos.
