OBJECTIVES OF INTERNSHIP

INTRODUCTION TO WEB DEVELOPMENT
Web development refers to the creating, building, and maintaining of websites. It includes aspects
such as web design, web publishing, web programming, and database management. It is the creation of
an application that works over the internet that is websites.
The word Web Development is made up of two words, that is:
- Web: It refers to websites, web pages or anything that works over the internet.
- Development: It refers to building the application from scratch.

WEB DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Front End Development
Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and
JavaScript for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them directly. The challenge
associated with front end development is that the tools and techniques used to create the front end of a website change
constantly and so the developer needs to constantly be aware of development.
Back End Development
Back-end development means working on server-side software, which focuses on everything you cannot see on a website.
Back-end developers ensure the website performs correctly, focusing on databases, back-end logic, and application
programming interface (APIs), architecture and servers. They use code that helps browsers communicate with databases,
store, understand, and delete data.

WORK SCHEDULE
Week No.: 1
Basic java codes to demonstrate class, objects, variables, display numbers and their operations (add,
subtract, divide, multiply, etc.), static blocks, types of errors, inheritance from parent class, method
overloading and constructor overloading.
Week No. : 2
Developing Front End of a website using NetBeans IDE. IDE simplifies the development of web,
desktop and mobile applications that use Java and HTML5 platforms.

Week No. : 3
Back-End Development - Storing of all the data in the form of databases using Navicat 8 Lite for MySql.
Based on the database tables, queries are executed.
Week No. : 4
Connecting the front end of the website to the back end database, that is from the NetBeans to the MySQL
Database.

CONCLUSION
Once the on-boarding and training phase wraps up, the new staff member should be ready to engage in a rewarding long-
lasting career. The full cycle recruiting process can indeed be a grueling experience for all parties involved. But, will the
addition of a new, reliable employee for the firm, it is also a much needed and appreciated part of nurturing a successful
business. I have learned a lot and believe am ready for real world.
