Dell SupportAssist Software development team is looking for a software engineer with a
solid understanding of web services, XML, hands-on web services or hosted web
application development using J2EE, Hibernate etc. He/She will work with a team of
experts in requirements analysis, design, plan, and deliver SaaS based end-to-end remote
monitoring capability for Dell's next generation proactive support solution.
Responsibilities:
· This position will be responsible for development/implementation of SaaS based
platform used for Dell’s proactive support solution.
· Developing technical specifications, prototypes, implementation, driving design
reviews are some of key activities.
Essential Skill Set:
Candidates must have a solid foundation in the following languages and
technologies: JAVA and related technologies like J2EE, Hibernate, AJAX and
Javascript.
Strong understanding and experience working on Web Services/web hosted
applications and appservers, MSSQL/Oracle database and related technologies
Strong and demonstrable object-oriented skills are a must, with experience building
multi-threaded applications.
