Bob Wian opened a small hamburger stand in Glendale, California in 1936 after selling his car. A young boy who helped sweep the stand in exchange for burgers inspired Wian to name the restaurant's signature burger the "Big Boy". Big Boy Restaurants now sells a variety of foods beyond just burgers such as breakfast, snacks, soups, salads, sandwiches, dinners and desserts at locations across the United States. The company looks for employees who are passionate about serving customers with genuine hospitality.
